Cambridge Park & Ride: All 5 Sites, Routes PR1–PR5, Buses & Guide (2026)
🅿️ Cambridge Park & Ride is the easiest way into the city by car: five car parks on the ring of approach roads, each with a frequent Stagecoach bus straight to the city centre. All five routes are run by Stagecoach East and are listed on bustimes under the Cambridge network.
🚍 The Five Sites & Their Routes
- PR1 — Madingley Road (west, from the A428/M11 side): city centre ↔ Madingley Road Park & Ride.

- PR4 — Babraham Road (south-east, from the A1307): city centre ↔ Babraham Road Park & Ride — handy for Addenbrooke’s Hospital.
- PR5 — Milton (north, from the A10/A14): city centre ↔ Milton Park & Ride.
- T2 — the cross-town link between Madingley Road P&R and Newmarket Road P&R.
🎫 Tickets & Fares
- Park & Ride buses are ordinary Stagecoach services for fares: singles are covered by the England fare cap — see the fare cap guide (£3 now, £2 from January 2027).
- Stagecoach sells P&R and city day tickets on the bus and in its app; the PlusBus rail add-on also covers Cambridge city buses if you arrive by train instead.
- Pay by contactless, app or cash. Parking arrangements are set by the site operators — check the Cambridge Park & Ride signage/app for current parking charges before you travel, as these change separately from bus fares.
