Lahore Metrobus: Shahdara to Gajjumata — All 27 Stations, Timings & Fare (2026)

The Lahore Metrobus is Pakistan’s first BRT system, opened on 11 February 2013 and run by the Punjab Masstransit Authority (PMA). Articulated buses carry around 180,000 passengers a day along a dedicated 27 km corridor from Shahdara (across the Ravi) to Gajjumata on Ferozepur Road, with 27 stations — 18 at grade and 9 elevated.

⏰ Timings & Frequency

The Lahore Metrobus operates 6:15 AM to 10:00 PM, seven days a week. There is no fixed timetable — buses run every 2–3 minutes at peak times, so arrive at the station and take the next bus in your direction. The end-to-end trip takes roughly 45 minutes.

💵 Fares & the T-Cash Card

Rs 30 per trip flat under the PMA fare policy (single-journey token, or T-Cash card). In March 2026 the Punjab government announced a revision to Rs 40 (Rs 25 for T-Cash card holders) — announced revisions have changed before, so check the fare displayed at the station. You must exit within 1 hour 15 minutes of tapping in. The T-Cash card (Rs 130 at stations and Bank of Punjab branches) replaces the old Metrobus Card, works on the Metrobus, Orange Line and feeder buses, and can be recharged at station vending machines.
